What is an allergen?
Allergens are common, usually harmless things such as pollen, mold spores, animal dander (dead
skin flakes and saliva), dust, foods, insect sting poison, and drugs. Allergens cause people who have
allergies to sneeze, wheeze, cough or have other symptoms.
