Vespa GTS 250 Review
Background
First a bit about myself, so that you have some idea of the context of this review. I got my first
scooter (Vespa 50) at the age of 17, which promptly got stolen and destroyed (and never went well in
the first place). At 19 I was a bit more determined, bought a Vespa 150 Super and even got a
motorcycle license. That scooter went well, was lots of fun, I was hooked and have been ever since.
Now I ride a scooter every day, for work and pleasure, on the weekends and even for holidays. I
haven’t had a car for 15 years and never want one again.
The next scooter after the Vespa 150 Super was a shiny new Vespa PX200. That Vespa PX200 I can
say was the one that really got me hooked. In 1990, compared to the average car, I could ride along a
motorway and overtake more people than overtook me. I had much fun racing cars off from the lights
and most of the time winning. however, after 15 years, the world has gotten faster, the PX has not
