ABSTRACT:
The C# programming language is rapidly replacing C++ as the
language of choice for developing Windows and database applications
and competing with Java in web development. However, its capabilities
in dealing with scientific problems remain unexplored. In this seminar
a brief introduction to C# and its application to development of an
object-oriented finite element analysis package will be presented. The
strengths and weaknesses of C# over FORTRAN will be discussed….
