Introduction
The SONY Camera Custom Control captures an image using the camera built-in to the SONY Clie TH, UX and NX series devices. The control requires that a writable MemoryStick card be plugged into the Clie expansion slot.
On the Clie, when the control is visible, and the camera cover is opened, the control displays a viewfinder for the camera. When the user presses the shutter button, a 640×480 (or 320×240) pixel image is created and stored on the MemoryStick. The image is stored in the file “/FORMS4/PFTEMP.JPG”. Using a method call, the developer can attach this image to an image field on the form.
Adding the Camera Control to Your Form
To add the Camera Control to your form, create a new field on your form and select the Custom Control field type. In the component list, select “SONY Camera”.
The Camera Control has four adjustable parameters: CameraKey, ShutterKey, ShutterTurnsOffCamera, and ImageSize.
