The Audi R8C 1/32 model slot car is made under a licence of Audi AG Photo by: Amazing Shot Slot CarThe Audi R8C made its first, and only, race appearance at Le Mans in 1999. Unveiled only three
weeks before qualifying, designed by Tony Southgate, it is surely one of the most beautiful racing
cars ever seen at Le Mans. It featured a carbon fibre chassis and body, a 3600 cc turbo
powered engine, and a 6 speed sequential gearbox. Both cars retired during the race, due to
gearbox problems.
