The heart of the S8 beats like that of a highly-tuned athlete as the power
and dynamic performance are allied in absolute harmony. In a single
moment the entire reserve of power from the all-aluminium 5.2-litre V10
engine can be unleashed. At 7,000 rpm, the S8 achieves an astonishing
331kW of power and the engine reaches its maximum torque of 540 Nm
at 3,500 rpm. Impressively, 90 percent of this enormous power reserve is
