Panera Bread Brings Prize-Winning Recipe to Waterloo
Fresh Bread is the Passion of New Bakery-Cafe
Waterloo, IA, November 6, 2003 - Panera Bread has chosen Waterloo, Iowa, for its newest
bakery-cafe. The new store opened its doors to customers for the first time at 6am today
(Thursday, November 6th), and is located at 1818 La Porte Rd, near the intersection of La
Porte and San Marnan. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 6am-9pm and
Sunday from 7am-8pm.
The nation’s “bread expert,” Panera Bread offers a wide variety of specialty breads, along
with bagels, pastries, baked goods, and hot and cold espresso beverages. The new bakerycafe
in Waterloo will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring hand-tossed
salads, signature sandwiches, and hearty soups served in edible Sourdough bread bowls.
