Adobe?After Effects?lets you work in 3D space to
position, rotate, and scale graphics in 3D perspective;
add lights and shadows; and then animate cameras to
move through the 3D environment.
Although 3D environments are predominantly pixelbased,
Adobe Photoshop?files may lose edge quality
when you view them at close 3D angles. After Effects
lets you generate a selection of vector-based objects;
however, the powerful vector graphic tools in Adobe
Illustrator?are significantly more efficient for creating
and preparing graphics for 3D animation.
If you create movie titles, 3D web graphics, DVD
interfaces, or other types of 3D projects, you’ll benefit
from a vector-based workflow that incorporates Illustrator
and After Effects.
