This Web-based tutorial is designed to take you through a basic introduction to using Adobe
Acrobat 5 for creating and utilizing documents saved in the .pdf format.
Acrobat is not a program used to create original content - its value is in converting pre-existing
documents into a format that can be viewed exactly as you intended despite the audience
utilizing various software and hardware configurations. The audience only needs the free
Acrobat Reader (downloadable at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html) to view your
document.
