Adobe Premiere Tutorial
You will need headphones to be able to appreciate the audio editing part of this tutorial.
These will be provided for the organized laboratory sessions.
At first sight the handout may seem lengthy! However, the handout takes you through the
steps of the tutorial quite comprehensively.
The tutorial is intended as an introduction to the basic concepts and features of the Adobe
Premiere program. You’ll run through a typical series of steps for creating a video piece,
including basic editing techniques, adding transitions, motion, and transparency. You should
be able to complete the video production within a single laboratory session.
All of the files you’ll use in the tutorial can be found in I:MultiMediaPremiere.
This tutorial is conducted under windows, if you intend to use Premiere on the Macintintosh
then be aware of the following:
?The “Enter” key of Windows is equivalent to the “Return” key of the Macintosh.
?The “Alt” key of Windows is the “Option” key for Macintosh.
At anytime, you can view a completed version of the movie you’ll create in this tutorial by
double-clicking the “Zfinal.avi” movie…
