Titles are more legible when they’re stills. They’re also a
lot less interesting.
A transition may lift them out of the doldrums. When
you’re working with layers in Adobe?Premiere?Pro, it
makes sense that some kind of transition between them
is going to make it a lot more pleasing than hard cuts -
especially when the layers form a composite picture.
Like video effects, though, badly chosen transitions can
really trash your title sequence.
In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to add some interest
to a title in a wedding video by adding transitions
between the title’s layers.

The first thing to do is to help things along by pulling
apart a few of the title’s layers. In Title Designer, this is
best achieved by copying and pasting any layer that
could be used into a new title.

In Premiere Pro, all the stills saved off appear in the
Project Clips window. Give each of them a video track
