Microsoft’s new client operating system, Windows Vista, is making its way into corporate networks. Microsoft and its partners have made much of the new features and functionality included in this latest OS release. Many of Vista’s features target reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO) of the desktop, either by decreasing the time required for a chnology staff member to secure and administer it or by standardizing the way workstations are deployed in the business.
