Macromedia Breeze Presenter
From Start to Finish
Five Main Steps
1. Set up a Breeze Presenter user account and install the Presenter plug-in.
2. Create your slide presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.
3. Add audio to your presentation.
4. Set up Presenter settings.
5. Convert your PowerPoint presentation into a Breeze Presenter presentation.
Before You Begin
We strongly recommend that you know how to use Microsoft PowerPoint. Breeze
Presenter is only an audio supplement to your PowerPoint presentations.
Visually, your presentation will be only as good as your skills in Microsoft
PowerPoint.
We also strongly recommend that you purchase a headset to record audio for
your presentation because you will get better quality audio. A headset allows a
more consistent distance from your mouth to the microphone and also helps
avoid picking up background noise that often accompanies recordings with
desktop/boom microphones.
We recommend the Altech Lansing AHS 502 ($18-22). Other brands with
medium to high quality will range in price from $25 -$50 dollars.

Step 1. Set up a Breeze Presenter User Account
and Install Plug-in
In order to begin using Breeze Presenter, you will need to contact the current
Breeze account administrator located on our web site at:
http://www.ahnrit.vt.edu/tools/breeze.html
Our Breeze service is currently available to faculty and staff in the College of
Agriculture and Life Sciences, College of Natural Resources, Virginia Agriculture
Experiment Stations and Virginia Cooperative Extension at Virginia Tech and
Virginia State University.
The Breeze account administrator will create and e-mail your user name and
password. You will receive an e-mail message similar to the following:

Please use the following login and password when accessing Macromedia
Breeze:
