A two day course for IT professionals and security consultants
Course Overview
The Applied Hacking & Intrusion Prevention Master Class is a follow up course to the hugely
popular Applied Hacking & Intrusion Prevention. The course is designed to expand the scope
of the original course, providing all the skills required to audit an internal network as well as
externally facing devices.
The course is a hands-on hacking experience teaching tools and techniques as used by
malicious intruders and experienced hackers. During the course each candidate will learn to
attack a large number of operating systems including Linux, Windows NT/2000/2003 and
Solaris. Each segment of the course is concluded with a countermeasures session discussing
how each attack could be circumvented.
Each candidate will be trained to use the tools commonly used by a hacker. The tools provided
are a collection of freely available, commercial and custom tools from the Master Class Exploit
Arsenal, which are not available elsewhere. A collection of these tools is provided in CD format
for each candidate to take away.
