A two day course for IT professionals and security consultants
Course Overview
The Certified Network Security Engineering is a follow up course to the hugely popular Certified
Network Security Assessment. The course is designed to expand the scope of the original
course, providing all the skills required to audit an internal network as well as externally facing
devices.
The course is a hands-on hacking experience teaching tools and techniques as used by
malicious intruders and experienced hackers. During the course each candidate will learn to
attack a large number of operating systems including Linux, Windows NT/2000/2003 and
Solaris. Each segment of the course is concluded with a countermeasures session discussing
how each attack could be circumvented.
Each candidate will be trained to use the tools commonly used by a hacker. Candidates will
take away the CNSE Toolkit, a collection of commercial and custom tools, which are not
available elsewhere.
