ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
This Guide is a publication of the Twin Cities Greening Coalition (TCGC), a group of
organizations that bring together a wide range of skills and experience to address
community gardening and greening issues that affect neighborhoods in Minneapolis and
St. Paul. We meet monthly at the Green Institute and welcome new participants.
Kyla Zaro-Moore wrote the first edition of this report in the spring of 2002 with support
from Neighborhood Planning for Community Revitilization (NPCR). The breadth and
depth of this resource guide is truly remarkable and Kyla deserves full credit for
conceptualizing, researching and writing the first edition. Rina Rossi and Leena
Oberthur, Macalester College students, updated the guide in 2003. This 2004 edition was
updated by Jo Williams, also a Macalester College student. We thank her very much
indeed for all her hard work.
To contact us regarding this Guide or about participating in the Twin Cities Greening
Coalition’s meetings, please call Corrie Zoll at 612.278.7119 or Anna Wasescha at
