Insight 8.x Plug-in Installation Guide
- For Internet Explorer
Overview:
This document provides step-by-step instructions on how to install the Insight Plug-in for
use with Internet Explorer. Please note that the successful installation of the plug-in
may require the assistance of your area’s PC support staff (see item 13 below for more
information). Detailed installation information on the Insight Plug-in for distributed PC
support staff can be found at the following URL:

Also note that Hyperion has renamed the Insight Plug-in to Intelligence Client. To avoid
confusion, this document will continue to refer to this software as the Insight Plug-in.
Installation Instructions:
1. When you access a report that requires the Insight Plug-in, eReports will check
to see if the plug-in installed. If the eReports server was unable to locate the
plug-in on your pc, or if it located an older version of the plug-in installed on your
pc, the following screen is displayed.
