The new Audi RS 4 AvantThe letters RS, or ‘Renn Sport’ are synonymous with the very highest levels of
Audi performance. The new Audi RS 4 Avant is the latest RS model from AUDI
AG’s highly-specialised sports subsidiary, quattro GmbH, combining motorsport
technology with the versatile and dynamic Avant design.
This purpose-built thoroughbred sports machine boasts a host of technical
developments, most of which have their origins in motorsport, ensuring that this
sports car remains at the top of its league.
These supreme technical innovations include:
- FSI?direct fuel injection technology. Developed for Audi’s Le Mans motorsport
program. FSI?produces more power for every drop of fuel.
- Audi’s famous quattro?all-wheel drive system. In the past 25 years, the quattro?
permanent all-wheel drive system has proven its ability to enhance traction and
