Hex Design Basic HTML Guide
This is a quick tutorial on the basics of HTML for use in our Content
Management System. The latest version of this document can be
downloaded from the support section of our website.
HTML is composed of TAGS which are enclosed in the < and >
symbols. The tags we deal with here are purely ones that change
the appearance of the text.
Bold, Italic and Underline
These are probably the most commonly used tags.
Usage:
This text will be bold
This text will be italic
This text will be underlined
This text will be underlined and bold
It is important to notice the closing tags e.g. as these tell the
computer when to stop.
Changing the font style
This is another common tag that allows you to change the text font,
size and colour. Important: It is easy to get carried away and
produce some unsightly results with this tag!
