Using LE QLeader More Effectively
Many offices held off upgrading to AutoCAD 2000 until this past year. The R14 platform still allowed a form of
backward compatibility. Because of the number of users who jumped across versions to 2000, we receive quite a
number of problems that have to do with AutoCAD’s dimensioning programs. This article focuses on the LE
QLeader program and the answers to common questions on the use of this command.
Before starting the LE QLeader program, you should set your current font In the ST Style command dialog box to a
ROMANS font. It is a little more appealing to read than the STANDARD font that AutoCAD uses to begin your
session. Then use DDIM and [Modify] the Text to the ROMANS font that you just created. This is shown here:
Try drawing a couple of leaders first. Then try some of the following adjustments to see if these settings help make
drawing Leaders easier. Keep in mind that some of the initial setting adjustments are to help users feel more
