Samsung G800 5 Megapixel Phone Released Earlier

Although Samsung said that its super 5 megapixel G800 phone will have the official release
at the beginning of 2008, the phone hits the market earlier, in November 2007. What’s really
unique about Samsung G800 is not the 5 megapixel that its camera has, but the fact that it
also comes with a 3X optical zoom, being the first mobile phone with a camera of such
quality. If you thought Samsung G600 (also equipped with a 5 megapixel camera) was
great, well, Samsung G800 is even greater.
Besides the 3X optical zoom, G800’s camera brings a new Graphical User Interface and
offers a 4X digital zoom too, auto focus, Xenon flash, multi shots, panorama shots and
macro shots, as well as mobile TV features like video editing and sharing.
Samsung G800 comes in a slider form and, when closed, measures only 101 x 51 x 19
millimeters. It has a big 2.4-inch 262K color QVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 240
pixels. The 3G handset includes HSDPA, EDGE and GPRS technology as well…
