How come we haven’t heard about this smartphone before?
Samsung has recently announced the launch of the G600 and plans on a future release of
the G800 5 megapixel camera phones. They have kept a low word on their new i550
model, although this one too has some interesting specifications to pride about.
Samsung i550 has a rather unusual design, coming from this producer. It is the first
candy-bar Symbian smartphone on the South Korean market, which makes it quite special.
The slim, small, but long buttons resemble those seen on some Sony Ericsson handsets
and definitely break the line of regular Samsung cellular design.
One thing that many people will thrill over is the small sizes of this handset. Samsung i550
comes at 115 x 53 x 13.8 mm. That is extra slim, especially when considering the fact that
the smartphone also packs GPS performances, which is supposed to make a difference in
size. Moreover, the fact that it packs this technology makes the phone ready for facing
competition from other large producers, as Nokia has decided to make all its handsets…
