1This talk consisted of lots of live code examples and questions from the audience. It’s a whistle stop tour of the PDC. My examples are on the DeveloperDay website but you’ll need the LINQ Compiler preview and Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 to run them. See the links section at the end of this slide deck for the URL.2
Originally this talk was going to be about a language from Microsoft Research called C Omega, it was a derivative of C# that contained some interesting new features. I imagined that some of them might find their way into the mainstream C# language. This happened sooner than I expected.
