A stylish clamshell with basic features
While most people out there were busy with the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas,
there were so many new products to present that somehow everyone managed to avoid
releasing the same mobile phone with a different color scheme. But this had to happen
eventually. Samsung E420 was up until now available in Asia and Europe in pearl white
and it is now being released in black and red. Just like the white version, the black edition
also targets female users and, of course, the features have not changed.
In fact, the stylish design is what an user interested in this phone will get, because the
features are pretty much basic, totally contrasting with all the high-tech features included in
some of Samsung’s newly released phones. The Samsung E420 comes with a VGA
camera, 65k color screen and GPRS capabilities. So don’t expect Bluetooth, Irda, a card
slot or MP3 player. Ringtones and other content can only be downloaded via GPRS.
