1 Introduction
The OpenOffice.org plugin described in this document provides a spreadsheet interface to the basic
optimization solvers in the Python convex optimization package CVXOPT.

3 Installation
The plugin is available from http://abel.ee.ucla.edu/cvxopt as a compressed zip-file. It requires
OpenOffice.org 2.2.0 or later, Python, and CVXOPT version 0.9 or later1. After downloading and
unpacking the plugin, open the OpenOffice.org spreadsheet and select Extension Manager from
