2007 SUZUKI SX4 AWD
N ow it’s time for me to say
“Thank You” to Suzuki. For
what, you ask.
How many cars have you entered
comfortably, sat your butt into the
front seat and then reached out to
close the driver’s door that’s now
sitting about a yard-stick length out in
space. Now you’re trying to grab the
door handle to close the door and
nearly found yourself out on the
pavement trying to get the door
closed. The 2007 Suzuki SX4 sports a
door that has been redesigned so that
the reach has been lessened to a more
civilized distance. Huzzah!
That’s why I’m giving a passing
grade to the SX4.
That’s one. Secondly, the AWD SX4
has a peppy 2-liter powerplant that
pumps out a healthy 143 HP feeding
the power to all four wheels while all
the time sipping the petrol in an EPAreported
28 mpg highway and 23
around town.
Our test platform was equipped with
the 5-speed manual transmission. The
shifter performed flawlessly and precisely
