Sony Ericsson Releases the K610
A Walkman phone that doesn’t compromise on its camera
Sony Ericsson has released several handsets today, most of which we already knew
about. While the release of the W880 was definitely not unexpected for anyone, few things
have been said about the W610.
It has been recently FCC approved but that’s as much as most people knew about it. The
mobile phone is meant to be a more successful combination between mobile music
capabilities and a built-in camera.
Sony Ericsson is known for releasing either phones with pretty bad cameras and
advanced music capabilities or phones with good cameras and low storage capacity or lack
of music features.
So this would pretty much be the first phone they are releasing that is aiming to do a little
bit of both. It comes with a 512MB Memory Sitck Micro (M2) in the box, Walkman 2.0
player, Track ID music recognition, Bluetooth with A2DP support, RDS FM Radio, Push
Email, Full HTML browser and a 1.9 inch 262k color TFT LCD display.
