Sony Ericsson W880 Finally Unveiled
The slimmest Walkman phone so far
The Sony Ericsson W880 is finally here. The mobile phone manufacturer has officially
released the Walkman phone that has been more or less expected but highly rumored in
the past few months.
And it was about time they released it, because all the rumors and suppositions were
starting to be a little bit annoying. According to Sony Ericsson the W880/W888 represents
a milestone in the Walkman phone portfolio and is one of the slimmest music phones they
have ever released which provides 1GB worth of storage space.
The W880 features include Walkman 2.0 player software, Disc2Phone music management,
Track ID music recognition application, Bluetooth for connectivity with A2DP support, a 2
megapixel camera with video recording capabilities, audio and video streaming support,
picture blogging, full HTML browser and RSS reader.
The slim phone also comes equipped with a 1.8 inch 262k screen with a QVGA resolution
and a 1GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card included in the box. It will apparently last up to 20
hours worth of music playing or up to 6 hours and 30 minutes…
