LG MS25, the Next US Prada?
To hit the market in the near future
A new LG touchscreen phone recently appeared on the FCC website, named LG
MS25/MS20 by the Federal Communications Commission. Sure, the phone doesn’t look
new, as it appears to be LG KS20, which is available in Europe from the beginning of
November 2007, but the details given by FCC show us that the device has different
specifications than the KS20 model. So we figured the MS25 is an improved version of the
LG KS20, modified to suit the North American mobile market.
While LG KS20 has a 2.8 inch display, the MS25 comes with a 3.0 inch 320 X 240 pixel
QVGA touchscreen, which resembles the LG Prada and LG KU990 Viewty touchscreens.
The User Manual of LG MS25, made available by FCC, says the device is a “3G video
mobile phone”, which brings another resemblance with the KU990 Viewty model.
The new LG MS25 operates on Windows Mobile 6.1 and packs a 2.0 Megapixel camera
with flash and avi / mp4 / 3gp / wmv playback support. The handset measures…
