How to “Batch-Process” with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2
Sometimes you need to convert more than one or two pictures at a time. For
example, you may wish to bring the file size down on a number of pictures in order to
use them on the web or send them to someone as attachments in an email. This is
called “batch-processing,” that is, you “process” a whole “batch” at once.
On a Mac, this is a 2-step process: you first need to get them OUT of your iPhoto
library; and then you will “batch-process” them.
Step One: Get the Photos Out of iPhoto:
1. Create 2 folders on your desktop:
1. “Photos to Convert” and
2. “Converted Photos”.
2. Open iPhoto.
3. Decide which photos in your iphoto Library you want to process, and, if you haven’t
already, make an Album for them.
4. Click on the Album, and File > Export (in OS X.4 it is Share > Export)
5. In the pop-up box, be sure “File Export” is in blue, and leave the settings…
