I. Installing the N6280 USB driver on Windows 2000
(A) Installing the N6280 USB driver on Windows 2000
Do the following to install the USB driver on Windows 2000:
1. Do not connect your phone to the PC/laptop.
2. Close all active applications on your PC/laptop and start Windows.
3. Put the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. The CDROM should start automatically.
4. Click Nokia PC Suite from the CD-ROM main menu, and click Nokia PC Suite 6.6 under Install now
5. Select the language, and click OK. InstallShield Wizard starts the installation program.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen, and note the following:
?You must read and accept the Licence agreement before continuing.
7. Messages may be displayed to suggest that the software or driver has not passed Windows Logo testing.
?This does not affect operation of the driver.
?Press Continue Anyway to proceed with the installation. Note that this is not the default button, and Continue Anyway must be explicitly chosen.
8. Restart your computer if prompted after the installation.
