The School of Law’s wireless printing service is configured to run on Microsoft’s
Internet Explorer. In order to install wireless printers, users must access
http://webprint.law.miami.edu. Note: While Internet Explorer is required for
webprint.law.miami.edu, it is not required for releasing jobs on
http://printjob.law.miami.edu. In short Internet Explorer needs to be used only to install
printers.
Recently, Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 7 to the general public. Internet
Explorer 7 is being pushed out by Microsoft using their Automatic Updates application.
Internet Explorer 7 includes more tools and settings used to better protect your system.
One of those settings is that Internet Explorer 7 disables automatic running of ActiveX
controls.
In order to install printers using Internet Explorer 7, ActiveX downloads must first be
enabled on your browser.
?On the Tools menu, click on Internet

previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt, click Enable
