Internet Explorer 7 Security Settings and myUK Portal
If you are using Internet Explorer version 7
as your browser, you will need to adjust
your Security settings for the myUK portal.
To see what version of IE you are using,
open the Help menu and click on About
Internet Explorer to display the version
number.
If you are using IE 7, do the following:
1. In Internet Explorer, open the Tools
menu and click on Internet Options.
2. The Internet Options box will appear.
Click the Security tab, and then select
the Trusted Sites zone.
3. On the Security tab, click the Custom
level. button.
4. The Security Settings - Trusted
Sites Zone box will appear.
Scroll down until you see the
Downloads settings.
Make sure the following three items
are selected:
Automatic prompting for file
downloads - Enable
File download - Enable
Font download - Enable
5. Click the OK button.If you see this message, click the Yes
button.
6. You will see the Security tab again.
Click the OK button.
7. Now you must close Internet
Explorer and then re-open it to apply
the new settings….
