The JAQ3 Ready to Be Launched by I-Mate
The device will have a Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system.
The HTC Communications company could launch very soon the rebranded TechFaith
UbiUiO, under the name of JAQ3, a Windows Mobile 5.0 enabled Pocket PC mobile cell
phone. The handset is usable on GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 Mhz networks, and
unfortunately, it doesn’t have GSM 850 or EDGE capabilities.
The connectivity part of the handheld features is well represented by the Bluetooth 1.2 with
A2DP (advanced audio distribution profile) and the Wi-Fi 802.11b, this allowing the users to
be on-line wherever they go.
It also has a 2 megapixel camera, an ARM926T OMAP850 processor, 64 MB internal
memory, a QWERTY keyboard and an expandable miniSD memory card slot for the
multimedia needy user.
The HTC manufacturer hasn’t yet released any info about the date of the release or the
price of the device, so users will have to wait until the official launch to find out all about it.
