This document explains how to use your i-mate. JASJAM as a GPRS/UMTS (Packet Data) Modem using the 2G/3G mobile phone network. Screenshots were taken from a Windows XP (SP2) device. When the JASJAM is actively being used as a modem and the device is on the GSM/GPRS (G icon) it is not possible to make or receive voice/video calls. Voice calls will be possible while the device is connected to a 3G network (U icon).
