Pentax Custom WB Procedures
Pentax K10D
Manual White Balance is used to record and recall custom white balance settings. White balance is measured
with reference to a neutral gray object such as the ExpoDisc. The new value for white balance will be
automatically stored in the Manual White Balance setting, no image is recorded when the shutter is pressed to
register the white balance reading. Refer to your camera’s instruction manual for more details concerning the
white balance.
Repeat these procedures whenever the lighting condition changes.
1. Allow the camera to set an automatic exposure using the P, Tv, or Av modes, or set the correct manual
exposure in the M mode.
2. Set the camera lens to the Manual Focus mode.
3. Press the Fn button for the Function menu.
4. Press the Four-way controller until the White Balance Screen appears.
5. Select the Manual White Balance setting.
6. Press the Four-way controller for the White Balance fine tune screen .
7. Put the ExpoDisc on the front of your camera….
