A. Loading the battery

Plug the AC power adapter
connector into the “DC IN 5V”
socket on the camera and then
plug the adapter itself into the
main power outlet. The
viewfinder lamp lights red and
battery charging begins.
Charge the battery in the
camera for 2 hours or until the
viewfinder lamp turns off.
Push the battery release catch aside while loading the battery.
1. Align the gold marking on the
xD-Picture Card slot with the
gold contact area on the xDPicture
Card. and push the
card firmly all the way into
the slot.
Close the battery cover.
2. Slide the Power switch to
turn the camera on.
