…Your xda is designed to store all contacts on your device, not on the SIM card. If you previously used your SIM card in another device it is advised that you transfer all contacts into Microsoft® Contacts. Not only is it a more sophisticated system where you can create more detailed records, send text messages and email, but by synchronising with your PC you can back up your contacts in the event you lose either your device or your SIM.
. Ensure the phone connection is switched on.
. Tap ‘Start’ followed by ‘Programs’, then select ‘SIM Manager’ and wait a few seconds for the SIM contents to load.
. Select ‘Tools’, followed by ‘Select All’.
. Select ‘Tools’ again and then ‘Save to Contacts’.
