…There are three steps to the upgrade process. Follow each step closely to ensure your upgrade goes smoothl.
The upgrade process resetnya your Xda II, removing all data and settings and restoring to the factory condition. Any 3rd party applications you have installed will need to be re-installed after the upgrade process.
Synchronising your Xda II with ActiveSync on your PC will ensure your contacts, calendar appointments, inbox items and tasks are stored on your PC - so when you establish a new partnership with the PC these items will be copied to Xda II again. You cannot reuse old Activesync partnership after the upgrade - you will need to create a new partnership when you resync your Xda II.
