The Canon DPP is free tool that comes with the Canon high-end DSLRs: 1Ds, 1D and 1D Mark II (it is also planned to support in the future the other Canon digital SLRs). The DPP is Canon’s answer to third party tools that are way stonger in terms of workflow than the older Canon tool. The conversion quality is good and also the workflow is not bad. But still DPP is no quite as elegant to use as ACR, C1 or Bibble 4.
