Cleaning Your FinePix S2 Pro CCD
Short Description
If dust or other minute debris attaches to the surface of the CCD, depending on the camera setting and subject type, the particles may appear as spots in the image. If this occurs, the CCD must be cleaned. The CCD is located behind the shutter screen.

The surface of the CCD is extremely fragile. A camera that requires CCD cleaning should be sent to an authorized Fuji Film service center. Please be aware that cleaning the CCD is considered a maintenance procedure and a service fee will be applied. CCD cleaning is NOT covered by warranty.
Please note that scratched or damaged CCD sensors may need to be replaced. This will involve a very expensive procedure. Please be aware that damage to the CCD or camera caused by an attempt by the customer to clean the CCD using the procedure described below is not covered by warranty and that responsibility for any charges necessary to repair the product rests with the customer.
