Battery charging
Your phone is powered by a rechargeable NiMH or Li-Ion battery. Note that a new NiMH battery’s full performance is achieved only after two or three complete charge and
discharge cycles. For charging times, see ‘Charging times’ on page 57.
How to charge your battery
Connect the lead from the charger to the bottom of your phone or to a charging stand. Then plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
When the battery is charging, the battery strength indicator on the right side of the display scrolls. Note: When you charge the battery for the first time, the
battery strength indicator will not scroll the entire time; this is normal.
