The much needed platform on sexual and reproductive health education
Singapore, 4 September 2006 - Following the highly publicised inaugural launch of the first sexual and
reproductive health SEXPO?Singapore 2005 last November, SEXPO?2006 is back with more
discussions on sexual and reproductive health topics, with a fun and entertaining approach.
In recent months, there have been discussions on sex related issues like unwanted pregnancy, safe sex
versus abstinence and increase in HIV infection. These issues are only brought out into the open when
stakeholders are looking for solutions and answers. Prevention is always better than cure. Singaporeans
should move away from the thinking that sex is a taboo topic and start treating sex as part of a normal,
healthy lifestyle.
