The High Dynamic Range (HDR) Landscape Photography Tutorial
Short Description
As a wildlife and landscape photography enthusiast with a couple of years of serious digital shooting under my belt, I do not claim to be an expert with High Dynamic Range (HDR) imaging or photography in general. But I have fun in the field, enjoy learning as much as I can about the art and science of photography, and have produced some images that are personally rewarding, as well as enjoyed by others. I currently derive particular satisfaction from working with stitched panoramas taken at sunrise or sunset, printed on roll stock. Late in 2005 I began adding HDR processing into my workflow. This was done to gain greater access to the tonality present in wide and dramatically lit vistas. I mostly bypassed the usual digital exposure blending route as it seemed labor intensive, although I know the technique can produce results. Naturally I posted several HDR images to Naturescapes.Net (NSN), and several people expressed interest in the technique used to create these images. At the request of the NSN editorial team, I organized my learning and thinking about HDR, and this article is the result.

Crash Course in Adobe Photoshop CS
Short Description
The primary purpose of Photoshop is to have ultimate control over digital images. This involves the creation and manipulation of digital images on many levels. It is used in almost any industry involving images (such as Advertising, Film Making, Web Design, etc). The possibilities of Photoshop are almost endless and it is the quintessential tool for anyone interested in digital images. There are two main uses of Photoshop: content creation and content manipulation. Content creation is the creation of material from scratch, using Photoshop’s painting tools to make an image. Content manipulation is the modification of existing material.

Photoshop tutorial Matrix Text Effect
Short Description
Open a new Document, whatever size you like. Give it a black background layer. Create a new layer and select the type tool. Now we’ll get to work on creating that text with all the strange characters. How do we do it? Well, we could spend half the day typing strange keyboard combinations or call on the help of an every day text editor. Since I’m on a Mac the obvious choice is BBEdit. For PC’s, I dunno, maybe word or something will work. What you do is open up a graphic file not supported by the text editor. I found opening a TIFF file worked quite nicely.

High Dynamic Range Image tutorial in Photoshop CS

In this tutorial, I won’t go into the technical and physical backgrounds of High Dynamic Range Image. Instead, I’ll present you with a basic instruction about the photography of the images needed to produce HDRI’s, the way to go about in Photoshop (which in CS2 has a feature incorporated that will produce a so-called Radiance document with little effort) and how to use the HDRI in 3D (I use Cinema4D but other software will differ only slightly)
