2009 LEXUS SC the pursuit
Short Description
While most automobiles merely move passengers from place to place, the SC goes much further. It takes into account the entire driving experience and strives to elevate it in every way. We sought a perfect blend of ingenuity, performance and style—ultimately selecting the best of everything we had learned as a car company. Which explains why it includes a sophisticated audio system created by Mark Levinson,?1 curves that are sculptural as well as aerodynamic, seating that’s trimmed with hand-selected semi-aniline leather and a seductively smooth ride. All packaged under a convertible hardtop that opens and closes at the touch of a button. In short, it’s a drive that feels more like a well-deserved reward—one that also happens to take you just where you want to go.

Alfa Romeo 147 Road Test
Short Description
MUCH to the joy of those with a sense of motoring history, marque character – something that all but disappeared with the realignments and takeovers of car companies in the ’70s and ’80s – has become a feature of the products of the late ’90s and new millennium. One of the makes that has led this revival is Alfa Romeo, which, in recent years, has shaken off the badge engineering of the initial period after the Fiat takeover to regain the style and individuality beloved of red-blooded alfisti. No model represents this trend better than the 147, with its classic front-end modelled on that of the 6C 2500 of 1949.

The Lexus IS F 8-Speed Sport Direct Shift Transmission Conquering a Stereotype
Short Description
Conventional wisdom has long held that a good manual transmission is always faster and more fun than an automatic transmission: Faster because it directly transfers power without the typical power loss of a torque converter, and more fun because it responds exactly to the driver’s commands with no delay. Fast, direct, fully controllable and predictable – exactly the desired qualities in any “driver’s car.” Moreover, precisely the qualities that describe the new Lexus IS F’s 8-Speed Sport Direct Shift transmission.

2006 Lexus RX Specification
Short Description
The RX’s available full-time all-wheel drive (AWD) varies the proportion of power distributed to each wheel based upon where it is needed most. This helps provide additional traction in all types of driving situations. A robust 3.3-liter V6 engine generates a pine-blurring 223 horsepower,1 the full strength of which is managed courtesy of Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-I) technology. This ingenious system continually monitors engine speed and load, adjusting the valves to ensure the maximum level of power is available at any given moment. The RX is also available with a sequential-shift transmission which allows the driver to manually change gears with a simple tap of the gearshift.
