Backint For Oracle (NetBackup For SAP is implementation of Backint For Oracle. In the rest of the document we will refer to it as NetBackup for SAP) can be used to backup SAP DB/MaxDB RDBMS. SAP requires that applications must be able to backup up any files in the file system, regardless of the existence of Oracle on that file system.
