Any photographs taken before the time and date have been set will have a time stamp of “2000/01/01 0:00”. Until you have set the time and date, a flashing clock icon will be displayed in the top right corner of the LCD monitor when the camera is set to A-REC or M-REC. The clock-calendar is powered by a separate, rechargeable battery, which is charged as necessary when the main batteries are installed.
